Ground School

Courtenay Flight Center provides a very comprehensive ground school program which aims at getting the Private and the Commercial Pilot candidates ready for the Transport Canada written exam.  All ground school classes are taught using computer based technology, and power point presentations allowing for a higher quality, more interactive learning experience. Coffee is always on!

The ground school tuition is $400.00 + tax, and there is a ground school kit available as well. The complete kit cost is $400.00 + tax and provides the student with all the necessary books, references, maps and instruments to facilitate their studies. For those who have completed any previous ground school courses and would like a refresher, you may sit in on individual classes for $25 each, seating space permitting.

For licensed pilots needing a refresher, ground school tuition is half price.
