We use Cessna 172 aircraft as our primary flight trainers. This aircraft is roomier, more comfortable and better performing than many standard trainers, and provides better, more cost effective learning. All our aircraft are equipped with intercoms, dual VHF comms, VOR and GPS. We take great pride in the above average appearance and maintenance of our aircraft, and we think it shows. For those who frequent the walkway around Courtenay Airpark, our two blue and white sister airplanes shown above are a common sight landing and departing throughout the year.

Since 2002 we have offered a Cessna 180 on Edo 2870 floats. Courtenay Flight Center is pleased to offer basic, advanced, and commercial entry level floatplane courses. If you're serious about flying as a commercial bush pilot, or are just looking for a challenging and rewarding endorsement to your pilot licence, look no further than Courtenay Flight Center. The C180 training provides a solid foundation for pilots looking to gain entry level work with a floatplane operation. Unlike many smaller float trainers, our C180 provides realistic experience for your first job.
