At Qualicum and Courtenay Flight Centers we operate four Cessna 172s which is the worlds safest 4 place fixed gear aircraft. These aircraft are used widely around the world for flight training and we choose the 172s because of its larger more comfortable size (4 instead of 2 seats compared to the 150/2) and better performance over other smaller aircraft. This type of aircraft is also a little closer to what successful commercial candidates would be flying at their first jobs in the industry.
